Our entire range of solid brush cleaners are housed in a PP 5 plastic container, while our liquid brush cleaners and beauty sprays are housed in a PET bottle. All purifying sprays are housed in a solid glass bottle. Both of these plastics and glass are widely accepted within programs and can be recycled into a large assortment of other frequently used items.

Our line of 100% synthetic face brushes are both cruelty-free and vegan!
Absolutely! Our Unscented brush cleaners were carefully formulated with working artists in mind. They are free of scent, free of color, sulfate-free, paraben-free, contain no animal-derived ingredients, have never been tested on animals and are safe for all skin types.
All of our scented products are intended for personal use only. Similarly to regular products, since everyone varies, some people may be sensitive or allergic to certain essential oils or scents. We do not recommend working artists use any scented cleaners with their brush kit.
Similar to the hair on your head, depending on how dirty your brushes are, they may require more than one quick rinse to produce a proper lather. We recommend using our High Rise Brush Cleaning Pad, which was designed specially for washing deep within brushes.
Due to the texture and density of varying beauty sponges, not all sponges will "suds" up or create a lather like brushes do during washing. This is completely normal; rest assured your beauty sponges are still coming clean!
Improper care can lead to extremely damaged brushes; dry bristles, minor to intense shedding, split ends, fraying, loss of shape, etc. If your brushes are damaged, it can be extremely difficult to remove deep stains.
While we stand firmly behind our range of solid and liquid brush cleaners, they are not miracle workers. (Let's be fair, they come close though!) Some stains simply cannot be removed no matter how many times they are washed. Especially with older, damaged brushes and natural hair bristles.
This also implies for beauty sponges of any kind. Due to the texture and density of varying beauty sponges, not all sponges will "suds" up or create a lather like brushes do during washing and stains can remain visible. This is completely normal; so long as the water runs clear when rinsing, rest assured your beauty sponges are still coming clean!
Our entire range of products are made with only the most natural ingredients and do not contain any harsh chemicals, this includes bleach. Would bleach remove stains more easily? Sure. However Alori's goal is to ensure our cleaners are not only keeping your brushes soft, conditioned and clean, but nourishing the delicate skin on your hands in the process.
Due to the texture, size and density of certain brushes you may notice some dry faster than others. Synthetic bristles also tend to dry faster than natural hair; this is normal and just part of their nature!
The ring or bubble appearance around the edges of the solid cleaner is normal, this may happen occasionally during the pouring and settling process. The dark or light spots on the surface of the cleaner, some describe it as a "makeup residue" appearance, is also normal and can be caused by the essential oils / mineral-based colorants that are used in solid scented cleaners.
